I am a Computer Scientist, and currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, at the University of Pretoria, South Africa.

RESEARCHER

I have interests in enabling education with technology, specifically with Artificial Intelligence techniques, including Natural Language Processing. I am keen on developing solutions to enable personalized learning, intelligent tutoring systems, automated assessment and feedback as well as question generation. I am also interested in developing educational systems that enable and support learning in the low-resource African languages, in a bid to  make education accessible to a wider audience. I enjoy teaching and mentoring girls interested in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields.

In my spare time, I like to coach women on discovering and fulfilling God’s purpose for their lives.
